This restaurant is a true gem! We went for my husband's birthday and we will be back soon with friends and family for sure. Every single item was delicious and made us feel warm and happy to the core. You know that scene from ratatouille when ego gets transported back to his childhood after taking a bite? The same thing happened here when we had our beouf bourguignon. Paired with a French red wine... the meal was perfect! If you are looking for a place for your birthday, anniversary, or date night... this is the place to go. The staff are prompt and welcoming, the food is divine, and the atmosphere is elevated while also being comfortable and welcoming!

Step into a hidden gem of delight. Immediately upon entering the owner greeted us with her lovely French accent. She escorted us to our table while literally enchanting us the entire way. The lighting was dim and romantic. Every single sip and bite is crafted thoughtfully and to perfection. 11/10 recommend.

Our family loves treating ourselves to dinner at TGG Dacula! The food and service is always excellent! Our server Taylor was especially friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. My mom and I are gluten free and there were many options to choose from. We shared a salmon crepe and the beef crepe. And finished with the lemon citrus dessert crepe (made gluten free). All excellent! Can’t wait to come back!

This month's Dîner en Français (Dinner in French) at The Galloping Galette Dacula was absolutely amazing! The owners Vivane and her husband Yanique were super friendly and welcoming. Yanique is the "chef de cuisine" and the food and desserts that he prepares are mouth-watering delicious . The restaurant specializes in "galettes", savory crêpe dishes made with buckwheat flour that are typical of the Brittany region in France, which is where Vivane is originally from. The menu also offers other traditional French dishes. The couple mentioned that they don't usually speak French with their guests, and so this was a unique and fun experience for all of us! The restaurant is in a historic building in Dacula, Georgia dating back to the early 1900s, and was the earliest bank mentioned in Dacula's history. It was also the Dacula post office during that time. The old vault is now the wine cellar housing an impressive selection of French wines. Sitting inside this cozy dining room with exposed brick walls, eating authentic French food, and speaking French, while listening to Serge Gainsbourg and Charles Aznavour playing in the background made us feel like we were in France! Merci beaucoup to The Galloping Galette team. This was totally worth the drive from Atlanta!!

Banana pudding ice cream with caramelized Banana, caramel, and homemade Chantilly whipped cream, and Brittany crumbles on the side! Yummy! **100 out of 10 stars.** Truly. The Galloping Galette Dacula (TGG Dacula) delivers **top-tier, A1 service, incredible food, and an overall dining experience** that feels almost impossible to find these days. I don’t hand out reviews like this often — but this one is earned. Taylor was our server and she is **excellent** — kind, attentive, and genuinely committed to making sure we had a great experience. I had several special preparation requests for my meal, and they handled every single one **without hesitation** and ensured it met my standards. That level of care is rare. I will be back. *Maybe even tomorrow.* It was **just that great**. This place is a rare gem in today’s dining world — and I say *rare* because so many restaurants miss the mark on customer experience, atmosphere, and honestly, basic food quality. But **not TGG Dacula**. Here, it’s real people, real food, and real hospitality. Can’t say enough great things about this French restaurant! We were greeted by the lovely owner, Viviane, & immediately seated. Our server was kind & professional. Our food was spectacular & portions were perfect! The acoustics are perfect if you want to enjoy dining without a lot of loud noise. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This place is a hidden gem! The food is incredible! Literally everything we ate had the BEST flavor and was cooked perfectly! I honestly can't remember a time in my life I've had food this good!! No exaggerating the food is incredible. The owners are so nice, make you feel like family the minute you walk in the door. We cannot wait to come back!

Absolutely incredible. The service, the food, the vibe....all of it! The flavors were elevated but also comforting. They also brought some appetizer samples for us to try on the house. Highly recommend boeuf burguignon and the quiche. We also had the caramel crepe. We love to eat out, and this location had some of the best food I had in a long time.
